Miniso opens second store at One city

MINISO, a global lifestyle and household brand, has opened its second outlet at OneCity Shopping Centre recently with hopes to have more stores in the sultanate by end of the year. At the new store which is located on the second floor of the establishment, the brand introduced the first-ever Marvel x MINISO collection.

The new collection features items like water bottles, pillows and stationery, among others containing iconic superhero characters such as Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Hulk.

Managing Partner of MINISO Brunei Chang Ai Lee said that the lifestyle store has been an instant success with customers since it first opens at Aman Hills in 2018.

“MINISO will continue to follow the principle of providing high-quality products at an affordable price to Brunei,” she said. It is hoped that, Chang added, the opening of MINISO at OneCity it will also help bring in more shoppers to the shopping centre.

She further said that the company sees a growth opportunity in the Brunei market, including the expansion of the lifestyle brand in the near future. The lifestyle brand also holds licenses and rights to manufacture branded products based on characters from We Bare Bears Disney, Hello Kitty, Sponge Bob and Marvel.

The brand promotes affordable quality products with a Japanese flavour and has operations in over 80 countries across Europe, America, Africa, Australia and Asia. MINISO covers eleven categories with more than 5000 products with over 30,000 Stock Keeping Unit (SKUs) in every aspect of life namely health & beauty, digital products, accessories and more.
